Summer may be hot and humid here in Alabama, but at BTA the only “steam” we’re concerned with is academics! School may stop in the summer months, but we believe that learning never should. Protect your child from the “summer slide” of learning loss with a fun and engaging summer camp experience they’ll never forget.

At Better Than Average Tutoring, we offer two-month-long summer camps each year that help kids gain and retain knowledge in a variety of subjects. How does a BTA Summer Camp compare to other local camps?
Our students actually learn while exploring the areas of Reading and the Arts…most camps babysit and at BTA our goal is to keep them learning over the summer and explore interests.
How Long Does the Camp Run? What is Included?
Camp dates vary depending on the year but typically run from early June to late July. Camp is held on weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Campers will receive a free T-Shirt and 2-3 snacks per day. All campers will be expected to bring their own lunch each day.
We like to lead with value first. As we determine the details of our Summer Camp we will come back here to update this page with pricing information and how to register. Inquire about our upcoming camp by contacting us! 
All campers must be dropped off and picked up by a parent/guardian or other approved persons. All campers must wait in their vehicles until a staff member approaches. All campers must be signed in and out before entering/leaving the premises.

  • Drop-off: 7:30am – 8:00am
  • Pick-up: 2:00pm – 2:30pm

Late arrivals or late pick-ups will need to call the Administration office at (334) 802-1315 (ext. 0000) to discuss their anticipated drop-off or pick-up time. Late pick-ups occurring more than two times may be subject to a $15 convenience fee due before the next camp day.
