K–6th Grade Academic Support
The Success Lab offers hands-on academic support tailored to each student’s individual needs. Our experienced tutors provide a structured environment that helps students build confidence and master core subjects. We focus on:

Maximizing Your Education with the Alabama CHOOSE Act
The “Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act of 2024” (The CHOOSE Act) represents a landmark opportunity for Alabama families, providing refundable income tax credits in the form of Education Savings Accounts (ESAs).
The CHOOSE Act provides a specific amount of funds per participating student. These funds can be used for a variety of “qualifying educational expenses,” which explicitly include private tutoring and fees for after-school or summer education programs. The School Day Success Lab’s model falls squarely within the scope of these eligible expenses, making it an ideal use of a family’s ESA funds.
As an approved Education Service Provider (ESP), Better Than Average Tutoring is authorized to accept CHOOSE Act funds. The application process to become an ESP is overseen by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR) and managed through the ClassWallet platform, providing a clear path for families to utilize their benefits at our facility.
