Better Than Average Tutoring has been named a finalist for Business of the Year at the City of Montgomery’s Business Awards Ceremony, set to take place August 1 at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. If selected, this would mark BTA’s 14th major recognition since our founding.
The awards celebrate the entrepreneurs, innovators, and community builders driving Montgomery’s local economy, presented by the City of Montgomery, Access Montgomery, SBOSS Montgomery, and the Montgomery County Commission. This year’s finalists were selected from a competitive field by a judging panel of business owners and economic development professionals from across the country.
Why This Nomination Matters
BTA was previously honored with the Community Impact Award in 2025. This year’s nomination in the Business of the Year category reflects something different – not just the impact BTA has made in individual students’ lives, but its growth into a sustainable, established institution serving Pre-K through adult learners across Math, Reading, English, and ACT Prep.
